August 27th, 2009 was the day that I first slouched in front of a sewing machine and sewed two pieces of calico together with a straight stitch. From that moment I fell in love with all things sewing and fabric and I spend my waking hours fantasising about what I'm going to make next.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and work a '9-5'. When I'm not sewing like a crazy lady, or hyperventilating in fabric stores, I like to salsa dance, read and be merry.
I married a spunk of a man back in October 2011 who supports my sewing craziness and knows how to use a seam ripper! True story! (Possibly also the moment I knew I was head over heals in love). His name is Robin and I'm working on convincing him to change his name to 'Robin Bobbin'. Because who doesn't love a name that rhymes!
